For a limited time JKM users can avail themselves of a trial database compliments of De Gruyter: the Encyclopedia of the Bible and its reception online. EBR is intended to serve as a comprehensive guide to the current state of knowledge on the background, origins, and development of the canonical texts of the Bible as they were accepted in Judaism and Christianity.

JKM has a 30-day trial subscription to the Global Church Project Educational Website through 20 March 2016. This website requires no username/password when accessed from the on-campus networks. To request the site-specific username/password for off-campus access drop us an email at infocommons@jkmlibrary.org.

Remember that if you're planning on borrowing I-Share materials for reading and/or research over the holidays to place your requests as soon as possible. Most I-Share libraries will close Saturday 19 December 2015 and not reopen until Monday 4 January 2016. Or, if open, staff may not be on hand to receive/return materials. Requests placed during the holidays will be held for processing until libraries reopen on the 4th.
