Resources for alumni

The staff of the JKM Library are delighted to announce an upgrade to the e-resources available to McCormick and LSTC alumni. In addition to access to the Atla Religion Database (a citation database of 2.8 million records, covering journal and essay literature in the field of religion and theology), alumni now have access to the AtlaSerials PLUS® database. This full-text collection includes more than 490 journals, with content in more than 20 languages (an upgrade of 150 additional full-text journals over the 340+ titles in the AtlaSerials®, the earlier full-text database). Because of security concerns, we recently (1 October 2019) updated our login credentials.

If the full-text of the article is not available, click on the 'Click here to request a scanned copy of an article or essay/chapter' link, fill out the Document delivery/interlibrary loan request form, and click 'Submit.' If the periodical or — if the citation is for an essay/chapter — the book is held by JKM, we'll scan the article/essay/chapter and email it to you. All requests are subject to the 'fair use' provisions of copyright law. We reserve the right to decline a copying order if, in our judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

Also, please note that these login credentials will not work with any links on The Text This Week website, as they require a secure (https://) url.

As we're frequently asked by alumni about the availability of other e-resources and e-books, unfortunately we're unable to offer to alumni access to any of those resources due to licensing restrictions set by publishers.
