Matthew Frost, Library Services Coordinator and Acting Interim Director

Matthew oversees circulation, including interlibrary loan, scanning, and document delivery. He also handles physical collection inventory and maintenance, online databases, and assists with collection development, as well as handling various system, software, web coding, and data analysis tasks for JKM. As our subject area specialist and an experienced researcher, Matthew will be happy to help you with any research questions you may have!

From December 15, 2025, through March 31, 2026, Matthew will be the Acting Interim Director, filling in for Stephanie Holding while she is on leave.

Sara Mercurio, Circulation and ILL Specialist

Sara is responsible for circulation, including interlibrary loan, scanning and document delivery. A recent graduate of the University of Illinois iSchool, she will also be assisting with some cataloging tasks. Sara is also a local musician, and has previous experience working with Northwestern University, CARLI and RAILS, the CSO, Gerber/Hart, and The Poetry Foundation.

Stephanie Holding, Interim Director (on leave)

Stephanie oversees all aspects of the library’s operations, including resource development and maintenance, library services, budget administration, and overall support for students, faculty, and staff. She joined the JKM library in 2024, after working for 14 years in public, academic, and special libraries across Illinois and California. Stephanie contines to be responsible for the cataloging and classification of the JKM Library’s e-resources and print materials to ensure the library’s collections are accessible and discoverable.
